Treatment

Fuel Treatment services purpose is to stabilize and extend the life of fuel. The intention of fuel treatment is to avoid the causations from the day-to-day environmental elements. Settings that allow air, water, light and heat to compromise machinery storage that may produce rust, sediment, sludge, suspended water, bulk water and micro-organisms. The stabilizer and biocide used to treat above ground, underground and generator subbase tanks are EPA approved for Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel.

When a large ratio of water is found during the sampling process, before treating the fuel, a special paste is used to measure inches of bulk water. Petroleum Recovery Services bases the treatment type from results provided by our third-party lab and quantity required based on the tank size.
